We are now back at Babbage Road. Please note that our
doors open at 8:00am and telephone lines are available from 8:30am .

Welcome to our website and our Practice. We are a long established General Medical Practice operating from modern, purpose built facilities in Totnes. Our aim is to provide excellent medical care that combines the traditional values of a family health service with the benefits of modern technology and research. We have designed our website to provide three things: comprehensive information about our Practice and our services; improved access to our services with the ability to arrange things like prescriptions and appointments online; access to health advice and information about other services and support groups. The ‘HEALTH SEARCH’ facility at the top of each page will provide advice and information for a very wide range of health problems.  Remember this site is only intended for patients of the Practice and is not a substitute for personal GP advice.

The website can be navigated using the menu that appears on each screen. Additionally we have included a toolbar at the top of each page which will give you quick access to our online services.

We are very excited about the possibilities of using the internet to enhance our services and would welcome any feedback on how it can be improved.

Changes to the way we monitor patients with chronic diseases who would normally attend the respiratory or blood pressure clinics.		Flu Jab
From 1.8.11 we are trialling a new system for these clinics. Rather than us sending out a specific appointment we are sending a letter asking the patient to make their own appointment for review. We hope this will reduce the amount of wasted appointments for these clinics which we currently experience. There is also the option of requesting a telephone consultation for a respiratory clinic review.		If you missed the flu clinics please speak to a Receptionist if you would like one. Those recommended to have the vaccine: Everyone aged 65 and over, everyone under 65 with certain chronic conditions, all pregnant women, everyone in a residential or nursing home, anyone who cares for an older or disabled person, all frontline health and social care workers.
