This is an independent volunteer community care group, offering help for patients in Totnes. Services include help with transport, friendly visits, shopping and social activity, mainly for the elderly.

Blood Donor
Blood donors are always needed, please help.
The Civic Hall in Totnes will have sessions - these are listed on their website.
They do not recommend that you give blood if you are pregnant or have any children under 12 months old. Also you must leave four months between donations.
There are other occasions when it is not recommended to donate blood, for example if you are on certain medications.
If you are unsure whether you are suitable you can ring and check on 0345 711711. Your suitability will also be checked with you when you attend.
